Delete your account
Last updated: 24 May 2026
You can permanently delete your MathsDom account and all associated data
at any time. This page describes the in-app procedure and the alternative
contact route, as required by Google Play policies.
How to delete your account from inside the app
- Step 1. Open MathsDom on your device (web or Android app).
- Step 2. Make sure you are signed in with Google (Home → Settings → if you see "Sign in with Google", first sign in).
- Step 3. Open Settings from the home screen.
- Step 4. Scroll to the Account section at the bottom.
- Step 5. Tap the red Delete button.
- Step 6. Confirm in the dialog that appears. The deletion runs immediately.
What is deleted
- Your leaderboard entry (display name, profile photo URL, score, progress).
- Your custom display name and the timestamp of your last rename.
- Your Firebase Authentication account (the link between your Google identity and MathsDom). After this you can sign in again with the same Google account as a brand-new player.
- All local progress on the device where you performed the deletion (score, current puzzle, current matrix puzzle reset to 1).
What is kept
- Your device-level settings (dark mode, sound, music preferences) — these are technical preferences for the device, not personal data.
- Anonymous, aggregated technical logs from Firebase that don't identify you individually (e.g. service health metrics). These are retained per Google's standard Firebase data-retention policies.
Deletion is irreversible. Once you confirm, your leaderboard rank,
cloud progress, and Firebase Auth account cannot be restored.
